There will be a variety of instruction provided during our clinics. These clinics are organized to create opportunities for all gymnasts to be able to receive individualized instruction from University of Bridgeport staff and student-athletes. Gymnasts should wear their clinic leotard, shorts/leggings are allowed. Grips, tiger paws/wrist guards, braces, tape that may be needed to train should come each day that you are present. Clinic groups will be organized by skill level first to help us effectively meet the needs of each of our gymnasts. All gymnasts MUST fill out our risk/liability waiver and meet the guidelines.

We will have a certified yoga instructor, Kelly Ellwood, owner and operator of Vibrant Living Company, who will do a rotation of yoga in each session. Our student-athletes do yoga sessions weekly to help with mental focus, recovery, and deep stretching.

We will have a Broadway Dancer and Instructor, Tony Mansker working with our gymnasts. Tony is a Functional Range Conditioning Certified Mobility Specialist & Certified in The Paula Morgan Technique for Dance Education. Tony has been on Broadway as Bert in Mary Poppins. Tour credits: West Side Story (US and International Tours). New York credits: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Regional credits: 42nd Street, Singin’ in the Rain, Footloose, Cabaret, Oklahoma, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow). Tony has also directed and choreographed over 200 young actors in Bye Bye Birdie, for the Metropolitan Educational Theatre Network, aka MET II, in Southern California. Choreography credits: Footloose (Trump Taj Mahal), and The Who’s Tommy (Surflight Theatre). He served as resident Ballet Teacher at Stagelite Center for Dance in NJ, as well as guest choreographer for Gotta Dance Studios in NJ. He is a proud graduate of New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts and holds a BFA in Theatre. He is currently a Doctor of Chiropractic Candidate at the University of Bridgeport.
